Spain: Despite what many people may think, Spain is much more than the Costa del Sol and tacky souvenir shops. Ideal for relaxing beach holidays or a tour of the big Spanish cities, it is easy to see why people become 'addicted' to Spain. One of the biggest attractions people find in Spain is the beaches. If you can look beyond the typical touristy beaches, you will find some amazingly secluded stretches of sand and blue sea.
There are secluded spots to be found on the Costa Brava and along the Costa de la Luz in the south. In the north, the Atlantic coast boasts cooler shores while the Balearic Islands also offer sunny sands. Spain's large cities are also worth exploring. Madrid is the Spanish capital and is home to an amazing collection of museums, galleries, parks and wild nightlife. The true heart of Madrid is Plaza Mayor, where you can find shops, restaurants, monuments and markets. The epicenter of Madrid's wild nightlife is definitely Plaza del Dos de Mayo.
