San Diego: This coastal city can be found in the southwestern corner of California, close to the border with Mexico. With around seventy miles of beaches, San Diego is the classic Californian beach resort. One of San Diego's largest attractions is the world-famous San Diego Zoo. Home to more than 3000 animals in beautifully landscaped gardens, highlights of the Zoo include the Tiger River exhibits and the Gorilla Tropics. Sea World is another of San Diego's best-loved attractions and Shamu, its resident killer whale, has now become the unofficial symbol of the city. The most thrilling part of San Diego is there is always something new to discover and enjoy.
